So far it’s not looking too good. The package came in a box from Crossman that had obviously been sitting around for years. You can tell by the filth and damage to the box. It was extremely dirty the box at holes in it the the box was obviously damaged and it wasn’t just in shipping. I am currently in the process of sending the package back. I will do another review once I receive the new unit. I purchased this unit expecting a brand new unit it was actually a 2020 model. I did open the package and it did not have all of the accessories that a new package would come with. There was stuff missing, so right now I am completely disappointed. I’m hoping for a good outcome.

Purchased it new back when COVID 1.0 was shutting the world down yet somehow the Benjamin Air Gun company was able to get it to me intact and in short order as well, and for that I give KUDOS to the entire team at Benjamin Air Gun in Bloomfield NY.
I figured I best purchase the BHPAC model seeing I had just purchased both the Benjamin Bulldog 357 and the Benjamin Airbow from the Bloomfield, NY. Location. Really glad I did purchase it (BHPAC) cause when the Bulldog .457 came out I ordered and got one of those as well again direct from the Bloomfield, NY location.
After the recharge compressor arrived I went and purchased a quart of Amsoil synthetic oil for the compressor crankcase along with a gallon of “distilled water”, Water for the coolant reservoir (NOTE: they are shipped dry on both counts).
The Water reservoir fills easily (1 person no biggie, just don’t overfill as water expands when it heats up and that it will). Adding the oil is less messy if 2 people are involved, 1to slowly pour the oil while holding the funnel and 2’ +,- of clear flexible hose (small enough OD to fit into fill port of compressor yet large enough ID for funnel to be inserted into it) the hose and funnel being elevated in a horizontal S configuration as fill port access is rather tight and the oil level sight glass line needs to be observed so as to NOT OVERFILL. It’s not as difficult as it sounds but if not paying attention it can get messy.
Plug it into an outlet that won’t have any other loads on that circuit (NOTE: plug directly into outlet WITHOUT using an extension cord.)as the higher the PSI/BAR goes the amp draw will increase and it will pop the breaker and or safety switch on compressor. Turn on cooling BEFORE compressor is turned on and well AFTER compressor is turned off and temperature gauge is showing cooled down.
My overall Experience? Excellent…and all I have to do is load magazines and arrows all without building up Biceps, shoulders and a major attitude all due to the hand pump is not my idea of a Bestie Friend Forever.
BTW, it is loud so you may want ear protection and keep kids in a much less noisy environment and be courteous of neighbors as well.
Should you use a SCUBA or SCBA tank remember those tanks are NOT TO BE USED FOR BREATHING until completely cleaned as floral carbons have contaminated the insides as well as the valves.

Had a great call with Kevin Synder about my new compressor. It was missing the oil breather plug. He was very helpful and sent me the missing part asap. It works great and looking forward to hunting again with my airbow.

In that I have purchased 2 of the “ 90 Cubic Inch Refillable Tan“…and today (12/9/23) went to the range to zero in and test various new .25 pellets in a pistol w/3,625 psi capacity, after ea. 6 round magazine the pistol would be recharged to 3,620 so all pellets would have equal conditions.
To accomplish the above test, The recharge compressor performed perfectly and did shut itself off at set point of 4,250 on compressor when filling each new tank, I’m confident it would go to the 4,500 psi limit but this being the first time to these pressures for all components caution was chosen.
Success all around: no leaks, no unusual noises, compressor temperature well within operational ranges. There was a 15 minute compressor off w/cooling circulation on during setup for 2nd tank.
Same results for Tank 2 as Tank 1.
Finish off with compressor off cooling circulation only till 22 C. was reached then shutdown.
Note it did take some time (that I didn’t time) to fill each tank as each tank had “0” Zero psi to start, I’m confident refills will take much less time as there’ll be in the 1,800-2,000 psi range to start.
I am pleased with the recharge compressor performance and in the purchase of it.

NOTE 2 : on my 1st review it should have been “HYDROCARBONS” not floral carbons.

I filled a 98 cubic ft. tank with it right off the bat that took about an hour and 20 min. to fill, then topped it off twice from 200 bar to 310 bar, which took about 30 minutes each time. I live in Florida so there’s about 5 months of nice shooting weather, so the compressor sat in my spare bedroom for 7 months until I tried to top my tank off again the other day. I turned on the cooling system and started the compressor and it ran up to 94 degrees and the emergency shut off kicked in, it did this several times. Couldn’t get the water pump to move water as the water pump wasn’t pumping water. I purchased the unit from Academy Sports and got a really good deal on it I thought (not so much now). When you pay this kind of money for for something you expect it to run for more than 2.5 hours before malfunction. Then I was hoping that Benjamin customer service and support would step up and help me with this problem, hah, what wishful thinking that was. They apparently just hide behind their answering machines and don’t care about their customers after the sale. Benjamin probably once had a decent customer support. At this point I wouldn’t recommend buying anything with the Benjamin logo on it.
