I bought my airbow 3 years ago. My doctor approved it for me due to sever arthritis in my back. I had my first chance to hunt with it this past week. I took a 5 point buck at 40 yards with complete pass through. It was a 50 yard track to find it. Thanks for a great product!

Once getting used to and learn the intricacies of shooting an air propelled arrow, the Airbow is quite impressive. Benjamin advertises 8 shots before refilling the air tank, and I can confirm. The regulator delivers impressive consistency through the eight shots. Each arrow flies a slightly different trajectory, so I’ve marked the arrows (permanent marker on the fletchings) and dialed in aiming points for each at various distances. At 50 yards, I can consistently hit a one inch target. Without adjusting my aiming point, I had 2-3 inch groups at 50 yards. While I initially purchased the handpump, I would invest in the compressor. Pumping the Airbow to capacity is labor intensive. At 155 lbs, I’m barely able to compress the Benjamin hand pump at 3000 psi without lifting myself off the ground. I went with an aftermarket compressor… I hope I don’t regret my decision down the road. The Benjamin compressor looks to have some nicer features, but is significantly pricier. The scope is easy to use and seems to be well suited for the task. (I typically shoot with iron sights, so I can’t compare to other scopes on the market.) There are a couple features which could in my opinion be re-engineered, but overall I think this is a quality product and is fun to shoot. Make sure you have a quality target rated for the velocity…

Have owned one for 5yrs have had 3 shots and have harvested 3 eight points. This hunting tool is nothing but AWESOME, I’ve reengineered the quiver situation but other than that it is one fun way to hunt. Hopefully other states will someday legalize this air bow, I don’t understand their reasoning for not. Happy Hunting!!! P.S. Huntting out of state is getting expensive!!!

Friend gave me his airbow and I’m just getting fully comfortable with it. Killed a doe here in NC just before Christmas. My biggest challenge is zeroing it and doing much practice. The arrows go right through two archery targets set back to back and then bury them selves deep inside a big round hay bale I used for a back stop. Had to move to a wooden back stop which of course is pretty hard on those expensive arrows. Old hands, please show me your range set-ups so I can get even more proficient.

This thing is a BEAST! Word of advice, stack 2 x-bow targets in front of each other when sighting in the scope or target practices. Because at 20 to 30 yards it’s going to sink the arrow up completely inside the target. I used my normal x-bow target, up to 450fps bolts, but this is much stronger. I wish I could post a pic. The arrow was inside target another 2" and it would have passed through it. But at 40 yards it has a grouping of a little less than 1". You will destroy arrows if you don’t remove them after every shot. And it’s loud! Sounds like a 22 rifle when you pop this thing. Only bad news is that I can’t hunt with this for archery season here in NC. Has to be non pneumatic with 2 arms and string propelled. But it dosnt matter ,I’ll just have to wait 2 weeks longer. But I’m taking this out 1st instead of my 30.06. It’s quieter and deadly. But it’s a blast to hunt with. Everybody asks what it is and wants to hold it. I LOVE IT and if you like unique types of weapons this is for you!

I love this thing. I have bad joints from my military service and when an opportunity came up for a fallow deer hunt I went and bought one of these. I shot the buck at 20m and he never even took a step. I’ve givenine a rattle can paint job and it looks awesome. Can’t wait till next rut!

It shoots great. Just wish it came with more arrows.
