I have had several cheaper air rifles, some pumps and break action. This is my first PCP, and I researched it a lot before purchasing my 22 cal marauder. I’ve owned this gun for several years now and have had almost no issues. I get between 40 and 50 shots from 2900 to 2300 psi. Which is where my gun runs well enough for hunting doves, rabbits, ground hogs and other small game. Occasionally, more lately I have had jamming issues where the magazine doesn’t rotate fully before I try to chamber the next pellet. This is not a gun issue but mag issue. That being said I do often leave the mag full and I suppose this will cause premature spring fatigue.
Accurate! I purchased 10 different pellet brands and types. My gun is unmodified and groups best with h&n barracuda hunters. Groups on a dime at 30 yards. Silver dollar at 80 without sorting pellets. I’m sure it could do better if I sorted by weight and size. Yesterday my son and I were shooting "self erecting targets" from 25 to 80 yards, one shot one kill. When we missed the most common reaction (thanks to how quiet it is) was to turn and look at the pellet impact aria, allowing for follow up shots as required.
Sometimes I regret not choosing the 25 caliber model. I chose the 22 for pellet availability, but find myself ordering pellets anyway, so I can’t help but think that more power would have been nice. Other than that I couldn’t be happier with my gun.

Received the .25 cal Marauder for Christmas. I have shot all types of guns/amo (bb, pellet, rimfire, center fire, rifles, shotguns) and hunted Tweeties to Elk since around the age of 10. I am 58 now.
This PCP .25 cal is just amazing. So accurate. Where I live I can legally shoot out the back door and this is now my go to for squirrels, pests, etc. Quiet as well so I don’t even worry about my not too close neighbors hearing gun fire.
The down side is I had (chose) to buy a compressor and the overall cost of the entire set up. Hard to want to spend this much on a pellet gun when nice hunting rifles can be had at this price! Thus far the reasonably priced compressor I found (unfortunately Chinese) for around $300 is working well! It is the orange Vevor. I am a total fan of Crosman/Benjamin.
This is my first PCP. Extremely accurate with the first pellets I bought which are the Diablo Exact Dome. I also bought two sample packs of approximately 12 other brands/types so on the next nice day I have available, I will find if another pellet shoots even better then excellent 😉
Since I will now begin repeating myself on how awesome this .25 cal Marauder is (wood by the way as I am a traditionalist in the stock arena) I will stop.
Highly recommend if you want to shell out the bucks.

So far after 6 months or so of ownership, and plinking iguanas and bullseye snakeheads in south Florida, the .22 cal Walthar version of this gun has been excellent. Once I dialed in my sight, the accuracy has been very good. My only "complaint" if you will, is the weight of the gun. At 7.1 lbs, plus a quality scope, its a lot to carry and hold for an extended time while aiming (especially for the snakeheads to surface). I’m under 50 yrs old, over 6′ tall, hit the gym 5 days/week and am in reasonable athletic shape, so I’m not a person of little strength. I ended up purchasing a Primos Trigger Stick to support the gun, and that’s been extremely helpful. Spring loaded magazine didn’t want to feed well out of the box, but after running a number of cycles through it, it now feeds pretty normal.

From start to finish this experience was painful. When I initially got my gun, scope, and pump, some of the products specifically the pump, was defective. When I called costumer service was a headache. I just gave up and fixed the pump myself. When I finally got everything set up and shot it for the first time, I was very disappointed with the accuracy even at short range, 10 meters.

Great riffle. Had it for six months and have loved it from day one. The bolt action is a little stiff in the beginning but the more you shoot the better it gets. I can’t believe it’s only $600.

Had one modded to left handed, at 11.85ft/lb
Both a dream to shoot, 120 pellets, High accuracy, consistent and bloody quiet!
Bit heavy to shoot standing without a gun rest once you have a scope amd night vision fitted but bloody great from a bipod or bag!
Easy to fill as standard foster on the front.
Gauge underneath so easy to see.
Only negative is the ease of double chambering and also the annoying anti tamper screws on UK models, costs £40 to have them milled and replaced!
All in all a bloody great rifle and if you wanted to push the legalities a little, piss easy to tune up in the 20s with just a basic toolkit!

I purchased a Marauder right from Benjamin’s website. When I filled it up the first time, right out of the box, the gun was leaking air. The lack of quality control here is not acceptable. This should have never been shipped out with a leak. They should be checking before every air gun is shipped.
Anyways, I called their customer service dept. and the rep said I had to identify what was leaking and they could send a new part out. This is lack of customer services. There should either be a new one coming to me now or a box and label being sent to me so I can mail it back to them. The only question the rep asked was where did I buy the air gun, I told him directly from their site. Needless to say he was speechless as he could not point back to someone else and say it was their problem.
Two failuers on their part. I would not recommend buying this gun or buying anything from Benjamin.
