My experience w t Benjamin semi Marauder is a combination of great and ghastly. A supremely designed gun that operates nearly flawlessly is 100% dependent upon its cheap, flimsy, massively unreliable magazine NATIVE magazine. No one makes a high quality (metal) alternative.
The loading process is bizarre.
I have had this gun for 6 months. I just bought my 10th magazine. They break and are irreparable. I’ve never had one last longer than 100 shots.
Benjamin makes the Gladius. A phenomenal weapon with an industry standard , cast aluminum magazine. I have never had one fail after 1000’s of rounds. But this one … a disappointing absolute FAIL.

Love the rifle, very accurate. Having issue with jamming and magazines failing. Seems the spring is weak and the pellet can’t cycle fast enough and the next pellet in line hits the plastic housing breaking off pieces of plastic that jam the magazine. I am using the .22 pellets Benjamin sells on their website. I’ve gone through 3 magazines in less than 6 months. Again, love the rifle, how it shoots, etc but there has to be a better design. I almost wish I had gotten a bolt action vs semi auto to see if that would help.
